As we approach our last day, I just want to give a quick shout out to my friend and travel buddy Katelyn.
I don't think she's following along, but here it is for the record anyways.
She is a Rock Star.
A constant voice of reassurance and calm, accommodating to the point of frustration (I kid, but I also cannot tell you how many conversations we had this week where I'd be like, "What do you want to do/eat/whatever" and she'd respond, "What do you want to do/eat/whatever?" )
Able to fill-in when my Spanish failed, (or when I panicked and got the doe-eyed look) .
Just a constant source of encouragement, reason and down for anything....ness...
I don't know how I come across when I type this blog, but I try to be honest about myself.
And I hope that honesty reads as earnestness because I want you to know that this is the truth of the trip-Katelyn is a wonderful friend and human being and I'm lucky she came on this adventure with me.
(Katelyn if you do read this, hi! But you've heard this all before, so apologies that it might be repetitive.)
